The Sierra Leone Rice Special Agro-Processing Zone (SAPZ) is a transformative initiative by the Government of Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB). This project is designed to boost rice production, processing, and value addition across the country by establishing a network of agro-industrial hubs.
